Before opening my own workplace investigations business, I spent 20 years exclusively practicing employment law in large national law firms, litigating single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits on behalf of corporations and smaller businesses. My work in the litigation trenches gave me a deep understanding of what is at stake for organizations in an investigation, ensuring that I do it well, and right, the first time. A thorough and fair investigation can prevent a lot of turmoil down the road, and it is my mission to do everything I can to ensure that happens, as it has been my experience that there is no real victor in a lawsuit.
My litigation experience also gave me the ability to navigate complex situations and extract crucial information in high-pressure environments while remaining undaunted by powerful or difficult people, which uniquely qualifies me to handle large-scale investigations at the C-Suite level. In addition to this experience, I have a natural talent for making people feel comfortable and heard, which is invaluable when conducting interviews in sensitive or high-stakes environments. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and understanding what makes them tick, allowing me to build trust and transparency.
